These terms govern your use of AdWise — Ad Blocker & VPN (the "App"), published by ASKOR SIA ("we", "us"), a company registered in Latvia, European Union. By installing or using the App you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, sell, rent, sublicense, reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the source code of the App, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it.
The App blocks advertising and tracking requests using the content blocking mechanism provided by iOS, and offers an encrypted VPN connection through servers we operate. Filter lists come from public sources and are updated periodically.
We do not guarantee that every advertisement on every website will be blocked. Websites change constantly and blocking is inherently a moving target. Likewise, we do not guarantee uninterrupted VPN availability: networks, carriers and local regulations may prevent a connection from being established.
Basic ad blocking is available without payment. Additional features are offered as auto-renewable subscriptions.
Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store Terms of Service. Requests can be made at reportaproblem.apple.com.
You agree not to use the App or the VPN service to:
It is your responsibility to know whether the use of a VPN is permitted where you are. Laws differ by country. We may suspend access if we have good reason to believe these terms are being violated.
Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: no account is required, we keep no VPN connection logs, and we do not sell personal data.
We may add, change or remove features, servers or supported countries, and we may update the App at any time. We may discontinue the service, in which case any prepaid unused subscription period will be refunded on a pro-rata basis where required by law.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will protect against every form of tracking or advertising.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer in the European Union, your statutory rights are not affected.
Apple Inc. and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, upon your acceptance, have the right to enforce them against you. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. Any claim relating to the App's failure to conform to a warranty may be directed to Apple, which may refund the purchase price; beyond that, Apple has no other warranty obligation in respect of the App.
These terms are governed by the laws of Latvia, without regard to conflict of law rules. If you are a consumer, you also enjoy the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you reside.
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.
